WHEREAS, the Village of Pleasantville Board of Trustees desires to amend Chapter 98 of the Village Code to allow the Building Inspector to waive fees associated with the renewal of an expired building permit if and when the applicant for such permit is a municipal entity; and 

WHEREAS, a proposed a local law was introduced on May 10, 2021; and

WHEREAS, the proposed action is a Type II Action pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and no further environmental review is required; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees is fully familiar with the proposed local law.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pleasantville shall hold a public hearing on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. via videoconference, in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Orders, which will include opportunities for interested members of the public to provide written and oral comments on the proposed local law.
