WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pleasantville is considering moving forward with the proposed pool reconstruction project to redesign and upgrade the pool at Nannahagan Park; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board desires to comply with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act ("SEQRA") and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto by the Department of Environmental Conservation of the State of New York, being 6 NYCRR Part 617, as amended with respect to the Project; and     

WHEREAS, the Project is not subject to review under SEQRA since it involves the rehabilitation or reconstruction of a structure or facility, in kind, on the same site, which is listed as a “Type II Action” under 6 NYCRR § 617.5(c)(2).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pleasantville hereby declares that the Project constitutes a "Type II Action" under 6 NYCRR § 617.5(c)(2) and that no further action is required under SEQRA.
