Motion made by Trustee       and duly seconded by Trustee   that the following resolution is put forth for adoption:

WHEREAS, the Village of Pleasantville conducts Village Elections pursuant to Article 15 of the New York State Election Law, and

WHEREAS, New York State Election Law 15-104(1-c) provides that the Board of Trustees of a Village may request the County Board of Elections to conduct their General Village Election held in March of each year.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Pleasantville does hereby request that the Westchester County Board of Elections conduct all Village of Pleasantville Village Elections and

BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED: that this resolution shall be effective for all Elections in the Village of Pleasantville held more than six months after the date of adoption of this resolution.
